Medarabia recognizes that Your privacy and the protection of Your Personal Information is important to you, and therefore, has adopted this privacy policy. This privacy policy describes our privacy practices and how we treat the Personal Information that we collect from You when You use products and services of Medarabia, including any Personal Information we collected from You when You created Your Medarabia account.

“Personal Information” is information that You provide to Medarabia and personally identifies You. Such information includes your name, email or other address, billing information or other data that can be reasonably linked by Medarabia to personally identify You.

Medarabia (or “we”) may obtain, collect, retain, store or otherwise maintain the Personal Information from the following sources. If you decline to submit Personal Information, Medarabia may not be able to or may choose not to provide to You some or all of our Products and Services.

Any email or other communications sent to Medarabia by You. We may retain those communications in order to process Your inquiries, respond to Your requests and improve our services.

This information may include, for example; server-log information, which is automatically recorded by our servers from an exchange between Your browser and our servers whenever You access, browse, or use Medarabia

The server-log information may include information such as (i) account activity, including storage usage, number of log-ins; data displayed or selected, including user interface or “UI” elements, links, etc; and (ii) as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request, date and time of access, one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser, cookie identification, referrer Uniform Resource Locator, etc.

When You visit Medarabia, we send to Your computer one or more cookies (i.e. a small file containing a string of characters) that uniquely identifies your browser. We use cookies to improve the quality of our Products and Services by storing user preferences and tracking. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. Please note, however, some features of the Products and Services of Medarabia may not function properly, if at all, if your cookies are disabled.

Medarabia only uses the Personal Information for:

• providing the Products and Services to users, including the processing, formatting and displaying of the Personal information and customized content;
• auditing, research and analysis in order to maintain, protect and improve our services;
• ensuring the technical functioning of our network, including creating and maintaining back ups or other archival copies of the Personal information and other related data; and/or developing new services.

If we propose to use the Personal Information for any purposes other than those described in this section or any other section of this privacy policy and/or in any specific notice to You regarding the same, we will ask for your consent prior to such use and offer you an effective way to opt out of the use of Personal Information for those other purposes.

Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, we reserve the right to sell, rent or otherwise share some or all of Your Personal Information with other companies or individuals outside of Medarabia when:

• we have your consent (which, except for Sensitive Personal Information, shall be deemed given unless You have opted out; for Sensitive Personal Information, we require opt-in consent); and/or
• we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to
  • satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request
  • enforce applicable terms of service, including investigation of potential violations thereof
  • detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues
  • protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of Medarabia, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.

Information Security

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.

We restrict access to Personal Information to employees, contractors and agents of Medarabia who need to know that the Personal Information to operate, develop and/or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination, if they fail to meet these obligations.

Medarabia processes the Personal Information only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with this privacy policy. We periodically review our data collection, storage and processing practices to ensure that we collect, store and process the Personal Information for providing and/or improve our Products and Services. We also take reasonable steps to ensure that the Personal Information we process is accurate, complete, and current, but we depend on You and our other users to update or correct their Personal Information whenever necessary.

Please note that this privacy policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this privacy policy without your consent, and we expect most such changes will be minor.
