Dr. Mona Al Helou

Dr.Mona Al Helou emphasizes on patient care and safety and addresses every aspect of woman health need. Dr. Al Helou obtained her medical degree from Balamand University in Lebanon, specialised in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Makassed General Hospital affiliated with American University of Beirut Medical Center, Lebanon. She also holds a diploma in Basic laparoscopic surgery, from Lebanese university, Lebanon.

Dr. Al Helou’s clinical experience is in women health clinics including vaccinations, preconception, antenatal, pregnancies, contraception (i.e., IUD insertion), and infertility, gynecologic exam, Pap smear, gynecologic infections, urinary incontinences. She is as experiences surgeon in vaginal deliveries including operative, caesarean sections, dilatation and curettage, hysteroscopy, and gynecologic surgeries, such as myomectomies, hysterectomies, ovarian cystectomies, and urogynecologic surgeries.She stays up to date to newest evidence-based medicine and obstetrics and gynecology societies guidelines through ongoing research and constantly attending conferences and workshops. Dr. Al Helou has published reports in journals including the Journal of Infection and Public Health, The American Journal of Infection Control, and Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology.
