Mourad Salam

Dr. Mourad salam has more than 20 years of experience as a physician. He completed his medical degree (MD) from Ain-shams university in Egypt and then he joined the Royal military medical services in Jordan where he completed his internal medicine board. As part of his training program, he went to Oldenburg universitatklinik oncology department in Germany, later he pursued his subspecialty training in King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) a tertiary comprehensive cancer center in the Middle East, the largest and highest technical center in Jordan and one of the most highly specialized hospitals in MENA.

Since 2015, Dr. Mourad has been appointed as a senior consultant of Medical Oncology at the King Hussein Cancer Center, Jordan. He has also worked as a Consultant Oncologist at several reputable hospitals in Jordan.

Dr. Mourad has an extensive experience with different types of chemotherapy and immunotherapy and has managed different kinds of cancers including breast, lung, colorectal neoplasms and solid tumors. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology and holds ESMO certificate (European Society of medical oncology) and ASCO certificate (American Society of Clinical Oncology).

Throughout his tenure, Dr. Mourad has actively participated as a co-investigator in several clinical trials and has multiple peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations. He specializes in the care of patients with breast cancer, with particular interest in aggressive breast cancer subtypes and breast cancer in younger women. His research is focused on developing novel treatment strategies and investigating therapy mointoring approaches through clinical trials.
