Dubai, UAE: The Ministry of Health (MOH) and US-based Mayo Clinic Group have agreed to have a partnership in the field of continuous medical education and exchanging experts and consultants to provide checkup and treatment for critical cases in the ministry’s facilities.
The agreement came following a visit from a delegation from the health relations department of the Mayo Clinic Group.
According to Dr. Mostafa Al Hashemi, Director of Overseas Consultants Program and Acting Director of Dubai Medical District at MOH, the two parties discussed research cooperation in the field of specialised healthcare, overseas consultants programme and the training of doctors and technicians in the healthcare centres of Mayo Clinic Group.
The Minnesota-based group currently includes 4,000 doctors and 50,000 scientists as well as assistant medical supporting staff
