They're definitely the cheapest provider in town, i live in Abu Dhabi, and comparing with other insurers, the lowest package they'd offer starts from AED 1,600 - whereas with Daman you could get coverage at half that cost. I am quite happy with Daman but would just encourage them to maintain their level of service by reviewing and approving claims a bit faster.

I moved from Lebanon last year and was relatively new to Dubai - after searching many options a friend recommended Daman and so far i must say i have no complaints.
I go to separate clinics for dental needs, dermatology and pediatrics for my son - and in all clinics they have so far accepted Daman. They're coverage is quite broad too and their rates even though not the cheapest in the market, are relatively competitive.
I would recommend them for their top-notch customer service, response time and low charges.

Its difficult not to like Daman, especially after their recent rebranding efforts which i feel has even improved customer service, at least its helped reduce the time i need to wait on the phone :)
They have some of the most professional staff i have, as an HR Manager, seen in comparison to other health insurers. What i like most about Daman, their availability & reach.

Loving their new "online" services and easy access. They werent too good until their recent revamp of the quality of customer service, revision of insurance packages and ease of communication.
They are expanding to probably be the leading insurance provider in the middle east, so far, over the last 2 years, i havent faced any issues with them.

I have had the opportunity of getting health insurance with them early in November 2008 and so far the experience has been great. Almost all medical clinics and hospitals accept Daman. I wouldnt say their rates are the lowest, but their customer service is probably the best in the UAE. I would recommend them to anyone seeking a decent insurance provider.
