Mr. Abdulmajeed Mehrz joined Abdul Latif Jameel Hospital in August 2008 as a physiotherapist and the Rehabilitation Coordinator. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from Cairo University. Since then, he has helped patients manage pain, restore movement, and improve their physical abilities. Alongside therapy, he also trains patients and educates them on the recovery process. Whether you're struggling with a work or sports injury, a maladapted posture, or aging side effects, Mr. Abdulmajeed is eager to hold your hand through your journey to a healthier life.

When he is not in the office, Mr. AbdulMajeed spends time with his wife and two children. He enjoys reading the latest scientific theories in rehabilitation and researching any breakthroughs in the field —feel free to ask him about the first cyborg-type robot, HAL (Hybrid Assistive Limb), at ALJ Hospital. HAL is able to read the brain signals of the person wearing it, and when s/he thinks of initiating movement, it strengthens this movement to accelerate motor learning. ALJ Hospital is constantly on the lookout for the most cutting-edge technologies. Accordingly, Mr. AbdulMajeed obtained an Instructor Certificate from Germany, enabling him to teach other physiotherapists how to use Cyberdine's HAL.

At Abdul Latif Jameel Hospital our doctors, therapists, nurses, and administration work on the patient's mind and body to give a holistic treatment. Our team works together to diagnose, support and treat patients so that they can impress themselves with how far they've come. Our latest technologies match international standards, while our community's compassion matches Islamic standards.
