Dr. Ahmad Zohdi Alkatma

Dr. Ahmad Zohdi has more than 14 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine with special interest in adult interventional cardiology. He has graduated from Damascus Faculty of Medicine in 1998, and he completed higher studies of cardiology and interventional cardiology in Damascus university hospitals. He obtained Master Degree in Cardiology in 2006. Since that date, he worked in several governmental and private hospitals in Syria, and he started working in Ras Al Khaimah – UAE in 2016. He is highly experienced in complex coronary interventions and emergency cardiac interventions.

• Management of Hypertension.
• Management of palpitation, cardiac arrhythmias and syncope.
• Management of Heart Failure.
• Evaluation and management of chest pain and coronary heart disease.
• Performing Echocardiography.
• Performing and interpreting TMT, Holter and ABPM.
• Coronary Angiography and Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (Balloon, Stent…)
• Cardiac Pacemaker implantation.

Qualifications

• Master Degree in Cardiology, Damascus University-Syria, since 2006.
• Syrian Board in Cardiology.
• Bachelor’s of Medicine.
