Prior to joining Mediclinic Parkview Hospital Dr Kanaan was an ENT consultant in Belfort-Montbeliard Hospital, France for four years and head of department ENT/ Head & Neck Surgery at Tawam Hospital, Al Ain, UAE for 13 years. He was also the head of department ENT/ Head & Neck Surgery at Al Ain Hospital for two years and Clinical Assistant Professor (Faculty of Medicine Health Sciences) in Al Ain.

French Board certified Otolaryngology (DES) and Head & Neck Oncology Surgery (DESC), French Diploma (DU) Facial Plastic Surgery
