• More than 11 year experience in psychiatry in the UK. Worked in different subspecialties including Child and Adolescent, Adult, Old Age, Addiction, Forensic, Asperger's Syndrome and Psychotherapy.
• I did most of my training with Cambridge and Sheffield training schemes in the UK. I have worked as a consultant psychiatrist at different locations in the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK.
• Established an Arabic-Speaking clinic in Sheffield to improve access to mental health services.
• Participated in research on schizophrenia at the University of Cambridge then became involved in research governance in one of the NHS Trusts.
• Several publications in scientific journals and a book chapter.
