Homeopathy is a natural form of medicine used by over 200 million people worldwide to treat both acute and chronic conditions. It is based on the principle of ‘like cures like’. In other words, a substance taken in small amounts will cure the same symptoms it causes if it were taken in large amounts.

The holistic nature of homeopathy means each person is treated as a unique individual and their body, mind, spirit and emotions are all considered in the management and prevention of disease. A life-threatening incident after Dr Javed’s birth led his father to abandon his flourishing general medicine practice and become a Homeopath.

His father was a conventional medical doctor at the time his mother went into labor. Due to complications during labor, a C-section was advised. She developed septicemia soon after the surgery, suffering with persistent fever for over a month. Even the best team of specialists couldn’t do much. The infection was resistant to all available antibiotics at the time and she lost half her body weight and went into a coma. As things continued to worsen, one of the well-wishers recommended trying homeopathy. As is usually the case with conventionally trained physicians, Dr Hingora Senior hadn't even heard of it.

A feeble 82 year old ‘homeopath’, who could barely walk was brought in. He asked some very strange questions, checked her pulse and gave quite a gloomy prognosis.

“If she makes it through the night, there might be hope, but I suggest you all bid your farewell to her now as the infection has gone too far”, he said shakily. He then gave a few tiny sugar pills to be dissolved in a few drops of water and put in her mouth. Despite the skepticism, his instructions were followed as there was nothing to lose. The homeopathic ‘dose’ was given to her that evening and everyone waited with bated breath, checking on her every so often to see if she was still breathing.

Miraculously, early next morning, she regained consciousness after a week of being in coma and uttered feebly ‘I am hungry…’. The fever was gone. By the third day and with only a single dose of the remedy, she was able to walk on her own and she made a rapid complete recovery to the astonishment of all including his father’s senior professors.

This had a profound effect on his father who decided to study these ‘strange but magical’ pills. He gave up his regular medical practice, joined a homeopathic college and later started practicing ‘magic’ himself. He has been doing so in a town called Raipur in India for the last 46 years. As a school child, Dr Hingora grew up dispensing these tiny sugar pills to patients under his father's watchful eye. He then went on to pursue homeopathic medicine as his career.

​After finishing his post graduate diploma in Greece, Dr Hingora moved to Dubai and founded the first ever homeopathy medical center in the region in 2005. Since then awareness of Homeopathy has spread to the wider public in the UAE and the Middle East with the Dubai Homeopathy Health Center as the first licensed establishment specializing in homeopathy. Other therapies were added to the core treatment in the centre and Dr Hingora created the STEPS Program (Specialized Therapies for Enhancement of Personal State) combining all natural therapies to provide complete healing solutions.
