From 1958 until the year 2000, Abdulla Yousif Fakhro & Sons were the agents for General Accident Insurance, one of the largest insurance companies in the world.
In January 2000, the insurance agency operation was converted into an insurance brokerage business. The aim was to be able to offer our clients a wider choice of insurance coverage at the most competitive rates. Thus Fakhro Insurance Services was incorporated as a wholly-owned limited liability company, and was registered with the Bahrain Ministry of Commerce & Industry as an insurance broker for all classes of insurance. It also became a member of the Bahrain Insurance Association.
