kidsFIRST Medical Center was created in 2006 with a vision to provide evidence-based medical services to children throughout the UAE. As the country’s first children’s medical center, our multi-disciplinary team serves children having both normal and special needs.

Qualified to work with any child, each of our professionals has been additionally trained according to their particular passion. Handwriting, feeding, adoption, alternative communication, sensory integration, and play therapy are merely a few examples.

The kidsFIRST team serves children across the full range of needs, such as Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADD, ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Dysphagia, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, and Early Language Delays.

While the children are always the focus, our heart is to partner with all of the key caregivers in a child’s life. In our experience, this brings about the best long-term outcomes.

Providing children world class services in collaboration with parents and educators, kidsFIRST Medical Center was founded in 2006, the same year that the UAE introduced Federal Law No. 29. With their establishment, both kidsFIRST Medical Center and the UAE government formalized an inclusive vision for children with learning difficulties and special needs throughout the UAE.

Since then, kidsFIRST’s multi-disciplinary team of international pediatric health professionals has worked with infants and children of all ages to ensure their academic, physical, and emotional growth.

Over the past eleven years, kidsFIRST has grown substantially as parents and educators experience our commitment to evidence-based services, and therapists thrive in our supportive, flexible, and collegial work environment.
