UAE: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai launched the Smart Government initiative to eTransform the Dubai Government administrative services. In line with that vision, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has been at the forefront of adopting advanced technologies such as the Smart Patient Portal and e-Services to ensure the continuity of healthcare services to patients and healthcare providers.
With a highly complex IT infrastructure comprised of 10,000 end-users (employees) in over 40 sites (administrative facilities, hospitals, clinics and prime medical centers) throughout the UAE; the MOH today announced that it has selected Nexthink to manage their IT infrastructure more efficiently and meet their strategic directives set by His Highness.
Mubaraka M. Ali Ibrahim, Director, Health Information Systems Department, Ministry of Health, UAE said, “Nexthink’s IT analytics provides accurate data of our IT infrastructure. This is a critical element to ensure our services are running smoothly. Nexthink helps our IT team in solving problems as they occur and preventing the spread of incidents that could impact the level of service we provide to healthcare facilities and therefore the general population.”
