UAE: The Sharjah Health Authority is in dialogue with German health-care providers and investors for its upcoming project Sharjah Healthcare City (SHCC).
The Authority visited a few leading health-care establishments in Germany during the ITB Berlin (Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin), the largest tourism trade fair in the world, which took place in the first week of March.
The Authority met with potential investors in health care and allied fields, including Vivantes International Medicine, the largest state-owned health care group in Germany.
The SHCC will cover an area of 2.4 million square metres — the largest health care facility in the UAE, and is expected to open during the second quarter this year.
