Women’s Hospital Qatar is a dedicated facility designed to serve the unique healthcare needs of women and babies in a caring, family-centered environment. Our 6-story hospital provides complete women’s care from obstetrics and high-risk births to gynecological services and is one of the largest birthing centers in the State of Qatar. The hospital offers 19 labor and delivery rooms, a high-risk maternity unit, post-partum and high-risk ante-partum units and a Triage Unit for women’s emergency and urgent care. The Outpatient Department provides a variety of services which include OBY GYN services, Radiology, Diabetic screening, Assisted Conception Unit, Fetal Maternal unit, Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic, Laboratory services and a busy Baby Clinic. Annually, more than 17,000 babies are born at Women’s Hospital, making it the busiest labor and delivery unit in the nation. Women’s Hospital is also home to one of the largest Level III (highest level) Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) in the nation. The 80-bed NICU at Women’s Hospital offers specialized care for high-risk critically ill newborns. Each baby is cared for by a multidisciplinary team that is educated and organized to provide the level of care that premature or critically ill newborns need.
