Dr. Shahid Abbas is a Consultant for Allergy and Immunology with over 30 years of experience in diagnosis, research, and treatment of Allergy, Allergy related diseases, Immunological diseases, Cosmetic Allergies, and Hair loss both in men and women.
He was trained in St. Mary’s Hospital London, Brompton Hospital London, St. Thomas’s Hospital London, Heidelberg University Germany, and in the USA. He was Chief of the allergy Center and Immunology Department in the National Institute of Health Islamabad. He was trained in the production and QC of the allergen extracts by WHO in the USA and developed several allergen extracts in NIH Islamabad. He had an international Allergy Clinic in Jeddah and now has two International Allergy Clinics in Dubai and two in Pakistan where he is getting local and international patients from different countries. He was a consultant in allergy and Immunology in BRM Suites, Dubai Health Care City from 2013 to 2020.
He is the pioneer in developing the Sublingual Allergy Vaccine (SLIT) in 2002 and since then his patients from different countries are getting benefitted from oral vaccines whereas in most of the countries injectable vaccines were being prescribed. In 2012 ultimately FDA approved Sublingual Allergy Vaccines.
He has developed several nutritional immune-boosting formulations such as Detoxvit CZM Tablets, Super-Immuno Sublingual Drops, Immuno-Boost Sublingual Drops, and Immuno Boosting IV Drips and IV Push.
During his 30 years of experience, he had seen thousands of patients suffering from Cosmetic Allergy, Hair Loss, and Hair Dye Allergy. To help such patients with novel non-allergenic products he did a one-year specialization in cosmetic formulations (Diploma in Personal Care Formulation from Australia) and 3 months diploma from the UK. He has developed his international brand ~Dr.Shahid Skincare~ with offices in Dubai (UAE), Sant Antonio (USA), and Islamabad (Pakistan). He is using expansive non-allergenic ingredients imported from Croda USA, the Latest Peptides, and Probiotics instead of dangerous chemicals for his products.
He established the first Patch Testing Clinic in Pakistan in 2017 for the diagnosis of cosmetic allergies or contact dermatitis. He has started this facility in his Dubai Clinics too.
