Dr. Sarmad Aji

Dr Sarmad Aji graduated with Honor from Damascus University Faculty of Medicine 1983, completed his General surgery residency and the his Vascular Surgery Fellowship in New York , USA by 1991, worked in private practice and published many publications in Proctology, Venous and Vascular Skin conditions.

Dr Sarmad has over than 25 years work experience in the USA and UAE. He pursued a busy private practice in General and Vascular surgery in the USA for more than 15 years during which he held multiple academic positions before moving permanently to the UAE in 2006 where he founded a chain of successful speciality clinics under the name of VeinCure Clinics in collaboration with local hospitals.

Dr Sarmad has received numerous recognitions and awards throughout his career.

He has been practicing as a Consultant General and Vascular Surgeon here in the UAE since 2007.

He is a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons and has been the recipient of numerous recognitions and awards throughout his illustrious career.

Dr. Aji strongly believes in “Focused specialty“ i.e. concentrating on a specific area with a speciality and doing them extremely well. Focused Specialty is the only way surgeons can refine and advance in their work.
