Dr. K. R. Menon has been practicing Paediatrics in Dubai for more than two decades. He has treated children from 0 to 16 years of age for a wide range of ailments from common illnesses to complicated disorders. He has advised new parents about vaccinations, growth milestones, allergy and developmental follow up. His areas of special interest include allergic conditions of childhood and Paediatric nutrition. He has completed a post-graduate program in Paediatric Nutrition from Boston University, USA.
He has held management positions as Deputy Director in Emirates Diagnostic Clinic (now Mediclinic) and Unicare Medical Centre where he ensured quality assurance of medical and paramedical services and championed continuing medical education.
He graduated from Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal, India and worked in the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Chandigarh, India before moving to the Middle East. Besides providing a comprehensive paediatric care to his patients, he was also actively involved in school health programmes. He is associated with Safari Kids Nursery in Dubai for their child health programme.
