He is a General Director of the New European Surgical Academy where he leads the Natural Orifice Surgery (NOS) Project.
He received his medical training and degrees from the Humboldt University of Berlin and completed his General Surgery residency at the CHARITÉ – Medical University Berlin, Europe’s largest University Clinic. During the last two years, He has been a Consultant in the Department of General, Visceral and Thoracic Surgery at University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf. One of his primary clinical foci is the development of new minimally invasive procedures in abdominal and thyroid surgery and innovative scar less natural orifice surgery in particular transvaginal cholecystectomy and transoral thyroidectomy.
