Mohamed Samy Abdel Raheem

Dr. Mohamed Samy Abdel Raheem completed his MBBS, M.Sc and MD in Anaesthesia from the Faculty of Medicine, Asyut University, Egypt. He went on to receive his DA (UK) followed by the FRCA from the Royal College of Anaesthesia, UK. He is also listed on the General Medical Council Specialist Register (Anaesthetics), UK.

Dr. Abdel Raheem is a Consultant Anaesthetist at Corniche Hospital. Dr. Abdel Raheem has several years of experience in Egypt and completed his training as a Specialist Registrar at South Thames Region, London, UK. He is a professor in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care at the School of Medicine, Asyut University, Egypt with a long experience in teaching and research work.

Dr. Abdel Raheem has several research papers published in reputed medical journals including "A Nasal Catheter for the Measurement of End-Tidal Carbon Dioxide in Spontaneously Breathing Patients: A Preliminary Evaluation", published in Anesthesia Analgesia in 2010.
He is also a chair of the anaesthesia conferences in Abu Dhabi Medical Congress and the Arab Health. He is a regular speaker in national and international medical conferences and a reviewer for the British Journal of Anaesthesia and other peer review journals.Dr. Abdel Raheem is a fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists [London, UK] and he is a member of the European Society of Anaesthesiology the Egyptian Pain Society, the Central Society of Egyptian Anaesthesiologists and the difficult airway society of the AAGBI.
