Dr. Bosio received his Medical Degree and Doctorate in Medicine from the National University of Ireland, University College Dublin and has been a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists since 1998.

Before joining Corniche Hospital, Dr. Bosio was the Divisional Director of Women and Child Health at Sandwell & West Birmingham (SWBH) NHS Trust after having been Clinical Director of Obstetrics and Consultant in Obstetrics & Maternal Medicine at the same institution for a number of years. As Clinical Director and more recently, Assistant Medical Director, Dr. Bosio has re-developed and initiated a large number of governance, risk management and clinical processes for two large tertiary acute general hospitals, maternity units and smaller rehabilitation hospital.

Prior to joining Birmingham, he was Head of Service for Obstetrics for Leicester Royal Infirmary, University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL) NHS Trust. Other managerial experiences include Clinical Lead for the CNST (Maternity) Steering Committee for the UHL Trust, Clinical and Strategic Development Lead for the UHL Diabetic Pregnancy Service, Chair of Perinatal M&M Review, Lead and Organization of High Dependency Care in Obstetrics and a founding member of the WM Perinatal Network Provider Forum and Board.

Dr. Bosio's vast teaching experience include Honorary Senior Lecturer (Clinical) and Clinical Teacher at University Hospitals of Leicester.

Awards:
Dr. Bosio has multiple original research and peer reviewed publications and abstracts to his credit as well as numerous oral and poster presentations at national and international conferences. He is the recipient of many awards from several national and international bodies, including the UK Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, the US Society of Perinatal Obstetricians, the International Society for the Study of Hypertension in Pregnancy and the SWBH NHS Trust Staff Award for "Improving Patient Safety" in 2010. He has achieved NHS Clinical Excellence Awards Level 8.
