Dr Veldsman completed his Orthopaedic Training at the well known Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town South Africa. He is certified as an Orthopaedic surgeon by the Health Professions Council of South Africa. He is a member of the South African Orthopaedic Association, AO Spine and the AO Allumni.
Dr Javed Khan, Consultant Cardiac Surgeon joined SKMC in September 2007. Prior to joining SKMC, he worked at Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide, Australia. With over 14 years of experience as a cardiac surgeon, Dr Javed has been performing cardiac surgery on wide range of patients. In addition, he has strong research background. During his current appointment at SKMC, he is involved in all facets of adult cardiac surgery.
