Dr. Naghma Nawaz

Dr. Naghma Nawaz, MBBS, is a Staff Physician in the Imaging Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Nawaz was a Consultant Breast Radiologist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Abu Dhabi for the past twelve years. At Sheikh Khalifa Hospital, Dr. Nawaz was the Deputy Chair of the Radiology Department from 2008 to 2016, the Program Director of the Radiology Residency Program from 2011 to 2015 and the Chair of the Breast Imaging Subcommittee of Radiology Council at SEHA. Dr. Nawaz was also a member of the Research Ethics Committee at Sheikh Khalifa medical City from 2007 to 2019.

Dr. Nawaz received her medical degree from the Army Medical College in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She completed her residency at St. James’s Hospital in Dublin, Ireland under Faculty of Radiologists, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She has completed further fellowships in CT & MRI cross-sectional Imaging at St. James’s Hospital in Dublin, Ireland and at Guy’s & St. Thomas’s NHS Trust Hospital in London, UK. Dr. Nawaz completed her breast imaging training at St. James’s Hospital in Dublin, Ireland, Guy’s & St. Thomas’s and St. George’s NHS Trust hospital in London, UK.

Currently, Dr. Nawaz resides in Abu Dhabi with her family. When not at work she enjoys going to the gym, traveling, watching movies and cooking.​​​​​​​​​​​
