Dr. John Douglas Ferguson

After qualifying in Medicine at Aberdeen University, further training in General Practice was undertaken in Scotland before overseas postings in Australia and the UAE.

Joining Emirates Airline in 2004 led to special interests in Aviation and Occupational medicine, with post-graduate qualifications acquired in the UK.

Extensive experience in the development of aviation services within the UAE including

• Senior Aeromedical Examiner and Medical Review Officer for the GCAA.
• Approved instructor and organiser of Aviation Medicine training courses.
• Head of first clinic to be appointed as Aeromedical Centre.
