Dr. Olusegun John Oluwole obtained Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Ilorin, in North Central Nigeria in 2006. He subsequently trained in Internal Medicine at the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe, in North Eastern Nigeria from 2009 to 2012 and obtained specialization in Internal Medicine. He pursued further sub-specialization in Neurology from 2012 to 2015 at the apex university teaching hospital in West Africa, University College Hospital Ibadan, Nigeria, at the completion of which he obtained the West African board specialization in Neurology (Fellowship of West African College of Physicians – Neurology).
Besides completing his specialization in General Neurology, he has received further sub-specialised trainings in various aspects of Clinical Neurophysiology. He received specialized training in Nerve Conduction Studies and EMGs at the Natus Neurology Headquarters, Madison, Wisconsin USA in 2018. He later received additional training in 2019 and became certified by the American Academy of Clinical Electrodiagnosis as a Nerve Conduction Study and EMG Specialist.
Dr Oluwole obtained fellowship in Epilepsy and Clinical EEG interpretation at the University of Munich Teaching Hospital (Ludwig Max-Millan University Hospital, Klinikum GrossHadern, Munchen), Germany in 2018. In addition, he is a graduate of the Virtual Epilepsy Academy of the International League Against Epilepsy.
