Dr. Anees Siddiqui is Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist at Al Jalila Children’s with a specialisation in neurogastroenterology and motility.

He began his medical education at the University of Texas – Southwestern and completed his paediatrics residency at Children’s Medical Center – Dallas. He then went on to pursue fellowship training in pediatric gastroenterology at Children’s Hospital – Boston / Harvard Medical School, followed by an advanced training in neurogastroenterology and motility under the tutelage of Dr. Sam Nurko.

Dr. Anees then joined Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin Texas, to start a neurogastroenterology programme. While there, he cofounded an aerodigestive programme, a dysfunctional elimination programme, and a collaborative abdominal pain programme. Dr. Anees aspires to provide children with the gold standard of gastrointestinal care and believes that collaboration should be the foundation of paediatric healthcare.
