Dr. Amany Kamaleldin

Dr. Amany joined Allied Medical Center in June 2019, bringing more than 20 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging to the Company. Her primary focus with Allied Medical Center is in women’s imaging services. She developed a special interest in diagnostic, screening and interventional breast radiology.

She has extensive experience and knowledge in diagnostic, screening and interventional breast imaging services. She interprets digital mammography, breast ultrasound, Breast MRI and performs various interventional procedures such as ultrasound guided core biopsies with Marker Clip placement, fine needle aspirations, vacuum assisted biopsies, stereotactic biopsies and pre-operative guide wire localisations.

In parallel, she maintains a keen interest in 3D / 4D Ultrasound for High-risk Pregnancy, Paediatric Neonatal Imaging, Fetomaternal Medicine, Infertility imaging including Follicular Monitoring and HSG.

Originating from Egypt she completed her primary medical degree in 1990 at Cairo University. From 1999 to 2005, she completed her M.Sc. of Diagnostic Radiology Faculty of Medicine; during this period of time she obtained her Ian Donald 3D Ultrasound Diploma in Fetomaternal Medicine from, Cairo University & FRCR 2A, Royal College of Radiologists, UK.

From 1993-1999 she worked as Radiologist at Hospital and Institute of Tropical Medicine Research Cairo Egypt. Dr. Amany worked as Head of Radiology at Samir Abbas Hospital, in Jeddah, KSA from 2000- 2015, with her focus on women’s imaging including breast imaging, Fetomaternal medicine and infertility imaging, 3D and 4D OB/GYN ultrasound. Her work involved complex breast cancer assessments and intervention.

In 2016, Dr. Amany relocated to Dubai and held a post as Specialist Radiologist at Medcare Hospital. After which she joined GMC Clinics with a focus on women’s imaging. She has various international publications throughout her career.
