• Hepatology particularly Alcoholic fatty liver disease, HCV, HBV infection & GI disorders.

Dr. Khalaf has worked as an Assistant Professor at the College of Medicine at University of Baghdad, as well as Consultant Physician in Iraq and Consultant Internal Medicine & Gastroenterology in Qatar before moving to UAE. He has wide experience and knowledge in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is also well experienced in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy like Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy, management of gastro intestinal bleeding by Sclerotherapy and Band Ligation, Endoscopic Capsule, Liver Biopsy , Fibroscan of Liver, Removal of Polyps and PEG as well. Dr. Khalaf is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh (UK), and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh (UK).
