Dr Iram Siddiqui is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist and a specialist in Fetal Medicine at Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital.

Dr Iram graduated from India and completed her training to be a consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in England (CCT) with her specialtiy in Maternal Medicine and Fetal Medicine. She has been a full time consultant in the NHS UK since 2012. She acquired her MRCOG in 2006 and has been recently elevated to Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG). She acquired advanced training in Fetal Medicine from the RCOG in 2010.

Dr Iram has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynaecology for more than 24 years. She leads the Fetal Medicine Department in her current role where she provides advanced scanning for fetal anomalies, doppler studies, fetal echocardiography, invasive testing and counselling for families where the baby is diagnosed with anomalies.

Dr Iram is a strong advocate of natural childbirth and normal deliveries. She specialises in the management of fetal growth restriction and placental disorders. Dr Iram has extensive experience in the management of women with complex medical and obstetric conditions in a high-risk setting.

Dr Iram has a keen interest in teaching and is the preceptor for the Advanced Labour Ward Practice and Fetal Medicine ATSM (Advanced Training Skills Module) by the RCOG where she provides advanced scan training for doctors in Fetal Medicine and management of normal and complex deliveries. She continues her active involvement in teaching by regularly speaking in national and international conferences.

Dr Iram has regularly published in peer-reviewed journals and presented in national and international meetings and has more than 20 publications to her credit.
