Dr. Syed Tanveer Akamal

Dr. Syed Tanveer Akamal, MBBS, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Heart and Vascular Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Tanveer Akamal was a Specialist in Cardiovascular Medicine at Universal Hospital, Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Tanveer Akamal received his medical degree from Jawahrlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, India. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore, India.

He also completed a fellowship in Cardiology (DM Cardiology) at Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research Centre, Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Dr. Tanveer Akamal resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and daughter. He enjoys reading, traveling and playing golf.​​​​​​​​
