Dr. Steven Green, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Anesthesiology Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Green was a Consultant Anesthesiologist at the Royal Columbian Hospital, a tertiary referral center for 1.6 million people in Vancouver, Canada.
Dr. Green received his medical degree from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada in 2011. He completed his residency at the University of British Columbia in 2016. He also completed a fellowship in Trauma Anesthesiology at Royal Perth Hospital, Perth, Australia in 2018.
Dr. Green has an interest in perioperative transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography for patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery. He is a Testamur of the Basic Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography Exam and the Adult Special Competence in Echocardiography Exam from the National Board of Echocardiography. He also maintains an interest in simulation for medical education and regional nerve blocks under ultrasound.
Dr. Green resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and enjoys the array of food options in Abu Dhabi. He is also a traveler who is constantly looking for the next great place to visit.
