Dr. Muneezeh Liaqat

Dr. Muneezeh Liaqat, MBBS, is a Consultant Anatomic Pathologistthe at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Liaqat was a Consultant in the UK, holding top positions at UK’s leading teaching hospitals, including John Radcliffe, Oxford Hospital Trust, The Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust and Charing Cross Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

She also has extensive experience working in the Middle East, based at the Central and Jazeira Hospitals and Mafraq Hospitals in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Dr. Liaqat has twenty-seven years of experience in general surgical pathology and cytopathology, with special interests in breast, head and neck, including thyroid and gastrointestinal, pathology.

Dr. Liaqat also has a keen interest and is responsible for immunohistochemistry, which is a process to detect proteins in cell tissue, development, validation and test utilization at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
