Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud

Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician ​in the Hospital Medicine department of the Medical Subspecialties Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Mahmoud worked as Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine Registrar at King Hamad University Hospital, Manama, Bahrain. During his tenure, he was actively involved in teaching and training medical students and residents. Before moving to Bahrain, he served for three years as an Intensive care physician at Gardens H​ospital in Jordan. He is currently an examiner in Saudi board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Mahmoud received his medical degree from October 6 University in Egypt, after which he completed a four year residency in Internal Medicine at Specialty Hospital in Jordan. He is Arab board certified in Internal Medicine and completed his MRCP Ireland membership.

Dr. Mahmoud resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and daughter. He enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends and traveling.
