​Dr. Binu Pillai

Dr. Binu Pillai, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Endocrinology department of the Medical Subspecialties Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Pillai worked in Apollo Hospital and International Medical Center in Muscat, Oman. Before moving to Oman, Dr. Pillai gained extensive experience working in hospitals in Australia, Brunei Darussalam and India.

Dr. Pillai received his medical degree and completed his residency at JJM Medical College, Davangere, Karnataka, India. Afterwards, he continued his specialized training in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in India and later in University of Warwick, United Kingdom. He is affiliated with many Endocrine Societies and is also trained in thyroid ultrasounds and biopsies.

Dr. Pillai resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys traveling, fishing and photography.
