Dr. Hussein Saadi, MD, is the Institute Chair of the Medical Subspecialties Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where he oversees nine medical subspecialties including dermatology, endocrinology, hematology and oncology, hospital medicine, infectious disease, general internal medicine, nephrology and rheumatology.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Saadi was Professor and Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University and Consultant Endocrinologist at Tawam Hospital in Abu Dhabi. He is a former member of the Cleveland Clinic Departments of General Internal Medicine and Endocrinology staff in the US.
Dr. Saadi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Endocrinology. Dr. Saadi is also a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University. His specialty interests include diabetes mellitus, vitamin D deficiency, osteoporosis and general endocrinology.
With a medical degree from the American University of Beirut, Dr. Saadi trained in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, in the US.
He enjoys reading, traveling, walking and soccer.
