Dr. Jagadish Vijayakumar Sardar

Dr. Jagadish Vijayakumar Sardar, MD, is a ​Staff Physician in the Eye Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Sardar was a consultant eye surgeon in NHS, England, BMI Hospital and Nuffield Hospital in Shrewsbury, England.

Dr. Sardar received his medical degree from Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupathi, India. He completed his residency at All India Institute of Medical Sciences and completed higher specialist training and post specialization fellowships in the United Kingdom. Subsequently, he secured a consultant position and worked in the NHS and also consulted and operated in BMI Hospital and Nuffield Hospital in England.

Dr. Sardar resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife. He enjoys traveling, gardening, reading travelogues books and has great interest in reading random non-fiction subjects and was a member of several book clubs back home.
