Dr. Abdullah Shatnawei

Dr. Abdullah Shatnawei, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Digestive Disease Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Shatnawei was a Staff Physician in the Center for Human Nutrition and Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, DDSI at Cleveland Clinic. He was also appointed as Medical Director at the Center of Gut Rehabilitation and Transplant.

Dr. Shatnawei received his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Surgery and Medicine in 2000. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine from 2002 to 2005 at Fairview hospital, Cleveland Clinic Health System, Cleveland, Ohio. He also completed a Clinical Nutrition fellowship at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio in 2007 and a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 2012.

Dr. Shatnawei resides in Abu Dhabi with his family. His hobbies include playing soccer and reading.
