He is the Director of the General Surgery Department and Bariatric & Weightloss Program. He received his medical education and specialty training from multiple prestigious regional schools and international American hospitals and institutions.

He is a certified diplomate of the American board of surgery and a fellow of the American college of surgeons. He specializes in general and oncologic (cancer) surgery. He specializes in Liver transplantation, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic surgery.
