Dr. Eman Abu Sha’irah

Ms. Abu Sha’irah is an Occupational Therapist who is registered with the Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD). She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from the Hashemite University in Jordan, and upgraded her professional managerial knowledge by completing Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Abu Dhabi University.

Ms. Abu Sha’irah is passionate about remedial and compensatory rehabilitation, which is the area in which she has been working since 2008. She spent one year working in a multi disabilities school in Jordan and then six years at the Zayed Higher Organization for Special Needs in Abu Dhabi. Throughout this time, Ms. Abu Sha’irah worked on development of her therapeutic skills taking a series of additional courses leading to professional certificates such as Kinesio Taping, EXPAND (PEDI) and wheelchairs modification and prescription.

Ms. Abu Sha’irah has a deep understanding of patients with multi disabilities, but she also works with patients suffering from Down syndrome, learning difficulties, autistic children, cerebral palsy and patients with compromised functionality. She has a proven ability in applying the Kinesio Taping® Method and handling early intervention and social awareness needs through presenting variety of lectures to the families.
