Dr. Ahmed Al Uzair is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Reem Hospital. He has more than 15 years of professional experience and is Dutch-board certified in psychiatry.
His clinical experience includes treatment of a wide range of general adult and elderly psychiatric disorders including psychotic disorders, mood disorders (unipolar depression), bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders (panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, social phobia, PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder, sleep disorders and more.
Prior to joining Reem Hospital, Dr. Ahmed worked in well-known healthcare facilities in the Netherlands and the UAE, where he gained extensive clinical experience.
He is a member of various health associations such as the Royal College of Psychiatry (RCPSYCH), the European Psychiatric Association (EPA), the Royal Dutch Medical Association (KNMG), and the Netherlands Psychiatric Association (NVvP), as well as the American Psychiatric Association.
