Dr Abdelhameed Elmesery – head of the Paediatric department and a consultant in Paediatrics is highly skilled and experienced Paediatrician with a diverse international background. He obtained his MBBCH from the University of Al Mansoura, Egypt in 2001, followed by a Master's degree in Paediatrics from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 2007. He further pursued his specialisation, earning the MRCPCH in Paediatrics from the Royal College of Paediatrics, UK in 2015.

With a rich career spanning over 20 years, Dr Abdelhameed has served in prestigious healthcare institutions across different countries. He worked as a Paediatrician and Neonatologist at Al Mansoura Insurance Health Hospital in Egypt from 2003 to 2007. He then expanded his expertise by practicing in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 2007 to 2009 and Kuwait from 2009 to 2015. In 2016, he joined SEHA Hospital in the UAE as a dedicated Paediatrician and Neonatologist.

Dr Abdelhameed's areas of interest lie in the comprehensive care of children, particularly in the Paediatric Out-Patient Clinic and Paediatric Pulmonology. He possesses extensive experience in managing respiratory conditions such as asthma, atopy, chronic lung disease, cystic fibrosis, and congenital lung malformations.
