Qualifications
Dr. Obaideen graduated from Aleppo University, Syria in 1981. He completed his D I S of Radiodiagnostics “French Board” from Jean Monnet University, St. Etienne, Academy of Lyon, France.
He is also an Associate professor of Radiology, in the college of Medical & Health Sciences, University Hospital Sharjah - UAE.

Experience
Consultant Radiologist, French board certification and training with 25 years experience in the field of Radiology and Imaging.

Prior to joining University Hospital Sharjah (UHS), Dr. Obaideen was a Director of Radiodiagnostics and medical imaging in North West Armed Force Hospital – a 600 bedded hospital in Tabuk, KSA and other hospitals across Saudi Arabic and France.

Dr. Obaideen is a member of the Saudi council for health specialties – Consultant Radiologist, Radiological Society of Saudi Arabic, Radiological Society of North America and European Society of Radiology.

Dr. Obaideen has published his work in international journals and presented his experience in several local and international radiology conferences.

He is also peer reviewer for AIUM Journal (American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine)

Special interests

His experience in general radiology includes various whole body radiological imaging, i.e.; cardiovascular, genitourinary, neurology as well as gastrointestinal systems. His non-vascular interventional radiology skills include gastrointestinal and uroradiology procedures with a wide range of interventional techniques for cancer patient management.

Subspecialty expertise includes:

  • MR imaging
  • MRI & CT - Guided Interventional Procedures,
  • Non vascular intervention
  • Breast imaging and interventions
