Dr. Abraham Thomas

Dr Abraham  completed Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2002 in VMSDC, South India and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in 2007 from the prestigious College of Dental Sciences, Davangere, India.

Dr. Abraham started his orthodontic career in Smile Zone Dental Specialty Center, Bangalore, India in 2007 and was also a consultant orthodontist to other reputed hospitals and private clinics in Bangalore. With immense experience of over 10 years, he has successfully treated many children and Adults with orthodontic problems.

Dr Abraham has also been a keen academician having worked as faculty member of Orthodontics for  Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore starting as an Assistant Professor in 2007 and finally a Professor in 2017. During this tenure, he has mentored other budding orthodontists and has also been an Orthodontic examiner in both Undergraduate and Post Graduate levels.

Dr Abraham is a Key Opinion Leader to 3M Unitek for SmartClip Self-Ligated bracket systems. He  is also certified with Invisible braces Incognito System (3M Unitek, Germany). Dr. Abraham’s  areas of interests include Self Ligated Bracket Systems, Lingual Orthodontics and Mini Screw implants. He has numerous publications in indexed journals to his credit and has  lectured in various orthodontic forums. Dr. Abraham attends Orthodontic conferences regularly and believes in keeping self-updated with emerging trends. He holds memberships with the World Federation of Orthodontists and the Indian Orthodontic Society.
