Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Hamza

Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Hamza graduated in 1996 from the faculty of medicine Cairo university, Egypt. He had his basic surgical training in Cairo university hospitals as a resident of general surgery for three years, then obtained his Master degree in general surgery in 2001 from the same institute. He then joined Dar Al Fouad hospital, one of the largest private surgical centers in Egypt between 2002 and 2006. He then moved to Kuwait and joined Mubarak Al Kabeer hospital (the teaching hospital of Kuwait university medical school). In 2012 he obtained the M.D. degree in general surgery from Ain Shams university, Cairo , Egypt.

Dr. Ahmed’s main area of interest is laparoscopic (minimal access) surgery. He got a diploma in advanced laparoscopic surgery from world laparoscopy hospital in New Delhi, India. He is a member in the world association of laparoscopic surgeons WALS, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons SAGES.

His expertise also include: open and laparoscopic Gastrointestinal surgeries, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic appendicectomy, breast surgeries (non plastic), laparoscopic repair of all types of hernia, thyroid surgery, pile and anorectal surgeries, lumps and skin lesions excision.
