Ali Choukair, MD, is a specialist gastroenterology at CMC Dubai. He studied medicine at AUB and graduated in 2004. Following this he did 2 years clinical research and electives in Lebanon and USA. In 2006 joined AUH to continue residency and fellowship in gastroenterology till 2012. Work experience gained from practicing in the gulf area since 2013 and currently in UAE since 2015.
Dr. Choukair’s scope of work encompasses simple digestive diseases, motility disorders, stomach related disorders, liver diseases and colon disorders. He also offers colonoscopy for screening and early detection of polyps and colon cancer, Gastroscopy, Capsule endoscopy, Esophageal PH, motility studies. Dr. Choukair also has experience in the field of non-surgical procedures for weight loss management and treatment of gastro-esophageal reflux disease.
