Dr. Amal Atwa Ibrahim

Dr Amal has over 20 years of experience in the treatment of depression, anxiety, social anxiety, OCD and stressor-related disorders, Schizophrenia and Bipolar disorder, Alzheimer and other problems of old age, eating disorders, ADHD and behavioural problems in children and adolescents, Marital and family counselling.

Dr Amal has joined us from Dakahlia Mental Health Hospital, Egypt. She is an official trainer for Egyptian Fellowship of Psychiatry, responsible for training board candidates in Psychiatry. Also, she continues to be Certified Independent Evaluator with the National Mental Health Council, Egypt.

Dr Amal has completed Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery from Mansoura Faculty of Medicine and Master’s degree in Neuropsychiatry from Benha Faculty of Medicine. She has also completed Arab Board Degree in Psychiatry from the Arab Board of Medical Specializations. She is a certified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist by European Psychiatric Association. She also has multiple research publications in peer reviewed journals as well as verified clinical reviews to her name.
