Dr. Amer Andrabi, MBBS, is an Associate Staff Physician in the General Surgery Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Andrabi was a specialty doctor in General and Vascular Surgery at the Royal Derby Hospital, United Kingdom for seven years. He has held the positions of Assistant Professor, Senior Consultant, Surgeon and Head of Department of Surgery during his professional journey.
He received his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College, University of Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Mayo Hospital, King Edward Medical University, Lahore, Pakistan. He has fellowships in General Surgery from the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and American College of Surgeons along with Diploma in Minimal Access / Laparoscopic Surgery from University of Strasbourg, France.
He has been appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery Lerner College of Medicine, Case Western University, Cleveland Clinic Ohio.
Dr. Andrabi resides in Abu Dhabi with his family. He regularly follows cricket and motorsports, especially Formula 1.
