Dr. Andrey Khozhenko

Dr. Andrey Khozhenko, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician ​in the Anesthesiology Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Khozhenko worked as Chief of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Clinical Hospital of RZD in Saratov, Russia.

Dr. Khozhenko received his medical degree from Saratov State Medical University, Saratov, Russia. After his specialization in Anesthesia, he worked as an Assistant Professor and as the Chair of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department at Saratov State Medical University.

In parallel, Dr. Khozhenko worked in several secondary and tertiary hospitals in Saratov, providing anesthesia for general surgeries and a broad spectrum of surgical subspecialties, including ENT and Maxillofacial, Bariatric Surgery, Urology and Obstetrics.

In 2014, he held the position of Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Clinical Hospital of RZD, a large secondary hospital in Saratov, Russia.

Dr. Khozhenko brings expertise in Clinical Airway Management, Vascular Access and Regional Anesthesia. He has taught medical students and residents for four years and has held a Kandidat Nauk degree since 2012.​
