Dr. Anil Ramaiah

Dr. Anil graduated from Mysore Medical College, one of the oldest and reputable Medical Schools in India. He completed his post-graduation in Anesthesiology from St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore securing first rank for the whole state. Then, he went on to do his sub-specialty training in Cardiac Anesthesiology from Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute of Cardiac Sciences, a premier institute which performs the largest number of cardiac surgeries in India. He has fellowships in Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography from National Board of Echocardiography and Indian Society of Echocardiography. He has many publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of Cardiac Anesthesiology and Critical Care and Perioperative Echocardiography. Before joining Al Jalila Children’s in December 2016, Dr Anil was the Senior Consultant Cardiac Anesthesiologist and Intensivist at M S Ramaiah Heart Center and was instrumental in setting up Heart Transplant Unit there.
