Dr. Antonio D. Pinna, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Digestive Disease Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Pinna was a Professor of Surgery and Transplantation at the University of Bologna, Italy.

Dr. Pinna received his medical degree from La Sapienza University, Rome, Italy. He completed his residency at La Sapienza Roma Policlinico Hospital. He did a fellowship in Transplantation in the Testarzl Transplant Institute at the University of Pittsburgh, USA. Dr. Pinna then became an Assistant Professor at both the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Miami.

Dr. Pinna resides in Abu Dhabi with his family. He enjoys his work, running along the Corniche and visiting the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi.​
